Cheat and codes final fantasy 7 ps2

Tips

Easy Experience

In the beggining of the first level, after Vincent meets up with Reeve, make your way to the town-square and wait for WRO troops to lead you to the church.
In the town-square there are a lot, and I mean a lot, of DG troops which can easily be killed.
Not only that, but their respawn rate is infinite and almost each one drops a potion and some gun ammo. If you keep at this for a bit you can make quite a lot of easy experience or money just as you start the game.

Easy xp or gil

Vs Weiss Empowered (not immaculate) try to be as accurate as you cna and cast lots of magics etc to boost your final xp reward

don't completely kill him though

instead let him kill you and you will get about 1000xp/10000gil (depending on your choice)

Event Viewer

Complete the game and save. After which load the Clear Game data and you can choose to see the cutscenes. The more Memory Capsules you collected during game play, the more scenes you can view.

Extra EXP?

When you are given mini-missions in the course of a chapter, you will receive more EXP the better you do the challenge.

If the challenge is to take out the snipers, you get EXP for each one you shoot down. In the section where you need to protect the boy, you can actually let the DG Hounds run off with him, and still finish the level, but won't receive the EXP for saving him.

The better you complete each mini-objective, the more EXP you get at the end of the level.

Floater Materia

When in Edge on the "Protect the Boy" mission, when up on the roofs, the boy will climb a ladder and pause and look through a small opening. Once the boy moves out of the way go through this opening (Don't worry; he will stand there and wait for you) and follow it around to get the Floater Materia. (You may have seen it through the fence earlier in the game, but couldn't reach it) Double back and rejoin the boy to continue the mission.

Fly (Sorta...) with Dragonfly PT in Ch. 11

When you're against Dragonfly PT in Chapter 11 and the beasty thing is flying over you, shoot it with your Hydra, and it'll fall in front of you as though it's bowing down to you. Then just jump on it's back and it'll fly you around the area, so you can shoot the plane thing and the rest of the beasties that'll come over you. (I perfer using the Blizzard materia since it follows).

But JUST ONE will take you JUST ONE TIME AROUND, so when it comes back to where you started it'll make that pose again ... so just kill it and wait until the next one comes. =)

Get the Secret Ending

During the course of the game, you will find 3 G-reports, find them all and you will get a secret ending after "The End" screen featuring Gackt.

Hidden Items

Bayonet Rifle Chapter 10: Later in the level, you'll come to a puzzle which involves cardkeys, it is next to a gatling gun behind a gate.

Blow Machine Gun Chapter 10: You'll come to a split in the path, one of which goes under a bridge, the case in the open is it.

Faerie L Barrel Chapter 10: After Blow Machine Gun you'll soon come to a place with a crate on a ledge, shoot the barrel under it.

G Report 3 Chapter 11: Located in a room with several Mako Points in it, use the rising platform to jump onto a pipe running along the wall, it's in the corner.

G-Report 1 Chapter 8: When a WRO is hacking a door, pprotect them untill they are finished. Go under the door, and continue on to find it atop a ladder.

G-Report 2 Chapter 10: Found on the roof of a house which you drop down on, shortly after the midpoint of the stage

Golden Moogle Doll Chapter 10: Complete the kill 100 enemies mission, the last enemy will drop it.

Guard M Barrel Chapter 6: Protect all 12 WRO members the length of the mission, and it'll appear in a crate near the end of the level.

Lucky S Barrel Chapter 10: In the area of the cardkey puzzle at the end of the long string of gates in the tunnel is the Lucky S Barrel.

Manaheart Chapter 6 Ex Hard: Early in this stage a red duel horn beast will charge through the stage, kill it before it leaves the stage and it'll drop it.

S Adjuster Chapter 9: The first string of guards, blow up the barrel on the very right and one of the guards will drop it.

Toy Gun Chapter 3: After saving the kid, enter the door nearby and is against the inside wall.

Need MP during the Arch Azul Fight?

When battling Azul on your way to DG you will face two forms. In his second, bull-like form, he will knock over several pylons on the deck of the elevator.

Look closely and you will see they are glowing. They are Mako Points!! If you need extra MP during this boss battle, and I know I did, jump on these spots and your meter will refill!

Quick Gil Guide

When: Chapter 12: A Finale Chaotic
Weapon: Any, better to start with Cerberus, then Griffon then Hydra and finally the Death Penalty
What to do: When you begin this part of the chapter (It's actually half way through the final chapter, but it appears as 'A Final Chaotic' in the game), you will notice star like creatures appearing. What you should do is use your weapons to kill them, you'll notice that usually two will appear at the same time, so either stand in the middle and keep looking around till you see them and kill them (Cerberus and Hydra will usually take one shot, but the Griffon will take a couple). Also remember that these star creatures drop the following: Hi-Potion, Red Potion, Phoenix Down, Death Penalty Bullets, so if you haven't got them, be sure to fill up on them, especially the Death Penalty Bullets. Remember not to use any Hi-Potions or Red Potions unless you still want to gain more EXP. Anyway, just keep killing them and with every one that you kill you will get 80EXP and as they appear in twos that's 160EXP in a matter of seconds. Keep doing this for about 20-30 minutes and check your status again and you should have around 16000+ EXP Keep doing this till your hearts content. When you've finished gaining EXP, remember to LET THEM KILL YOU. Then select Restart and choose the Gil.

Then simply get enough Death Penalty bullets again, and finish the game with 200,000+ gil.

Also remember that on Extra Hard mode you can upgrade the Model Gun from chapter 1 onwards.

Scene Skip

Don't want to sit through that long FMV again to get to the action? Just press the START button and the FMV will pause and it will show the X Button with the word 'skip'. Simply press the X Button and it will take you directly back to the action!
